With Such Pleasures and Passtimes
(A fundraiser for COVID-19 relief for Intersos)
This series was made during Italy’s 2020 lockdown as a way to raise funds for Intersos, a humanitarian aid organization working towards proving medical aid and COVID-19 relief to those in Italy’s marginalized communities. The title is inspired by a passage in Francesco Colonna’s Hypnerotomachia Poliphilli. The series was created with inks made from flowers, both dried and live, that Marta was able to find in her home, as well as flakes of gold leaf. The series is sold out.
